The previous year’s event attracted 400+ institutional VCs\, Strategics\, and Angel Investors from across the country. \nThe showcase will feature companies vetted by a selection committee of technical and investment experts from CMU\, IW\, and greater the robotics & AI community. Investors will also have the opportunity to meet with founders both formally and informally. The profile of companies are as follows: \nSECTOR: Robotics (hardware) or AI (software) companies that are in the process of raising funds or planning to raise capital within the next year. \nREGION: Companies based in the Pittsburgh area\, Midwest\, and Mid-Atlantic region. \nSTAGE: Pre-Seed\, Seed\, and Early stage.
